  • Course description

Crop production and marketing is a sophisticated industry in high demand for qualified technicians that understand agronomy, grain production, precision farming, and agribusiness management. With growing emerging markets including the production of renewable fuels (ethanol and biodiesel), you will use your knowledge of grain marketing and agricultural retail sales to increase profitability of primary production of the feed stocks such as wheat, canola and fiber crops.

    Live The Learning:

Learn to manage a profitable farm from cropping recommendations and planning crop and herbicide rotations, to selecting and operating machinery and marketing cereal, oilseed and specialty crops for maximum profitability. Use current GPS and GIS technologies to apply precision farming techniques. Your business training will teach you how to manage either farm finances or a retail agriculture business.
