    Description: This course is an introduction to electric motor controls, number systems and programmable logic controllers, basic wiring circuits and skills necessary to safety test common electrical systems and make minor repairs where permitted.

Upon successful completion students will be able to maintain and use oxy-acetylene and arc welding equipment at a basic level including welding, brazing, flame cutting and electric arc welding in the flat and horizontal positions.
    NOTE: Students must provide their own safety shoes/boots, safety glasses and welding gloves to work in the shop.
