ObjectivesThe Specialization in Leisure Sciences is concerned with the relationships between people and their environment. It deals with the social and cultural integration of the individual at leisure. The Specialization will give students an in‑depth look at the profession and allow them to develop skills in the area of recreation administration and/or recreation programming.

* 9 required credits in History, Philosophy and either Psychology or Sociology
* 12 credits chosen from Recreation Programming or Recreation Administration
* 30 elective credits in any department
