  • Objectives
    Students will learn the skills and knowledge to work with youth in various settings such as correctional facilities, educational institutions or community programs. These skills will include case management, behaviour modification, crisis intervention, youth program design and counselling skills. The program is designed to provide students with an overview of youth interventions from various justice sectors including the courts, police services, restorative justice programs, educational programs and community agencies or facilities. The goal of the program is to provide graduates with the diverse skills and abilities needed to expand their opportunities for employment.

    Students will have the opportunity throughout the year to be engaged in hands on learning including field trips, conferences and guest speakers.
