  • Objectives
The Department of Finance familiarizes students with all aspects of financial management and decision-making. Students learn how corporations make financial decisions and how individual investors can select and manage their investment opportunities. In addition, students have the opportunity to become familiar with the increasingly important fields of derivative securities and the management of financial services industries. Our course selection makes it possible for students to specialize in the five major areas of finance: Corporate Finance, Investments, Financial Institutions, Derivatives, and International Finance. Students learn basic concepts through lectures, case studies, and simulation exercises.
