Community Integration through Cooperative Education Ontario College Certificate

  • Objectives This program provides students with an opportunity to access most program areas (based on seat availability). The CICE program provides students with an opportunity to experience college life and to enhance their academic skills by taking regular college classes which have been modified to fit their academic abilities.
  • Practical experience Field placement experiences (unpaid), enabling students to develop vocational abilities, will be an integral part of the CICE Program.
  • Entry requirements Community Integration through Cooperative Education (CICE) is a four semester modified program designed for individuals with intellectual disabilities or significant learning challenges.
  • Academic title Community Integration through Cooperative Education Ontario College Certificate
  • Course description Each semester, a student will take three academic courses with a modified curriculum in a selected area of concentration as well as core programming common to all CICE students.
