It enables students to question, examine and challenge the role of women in society and is often a force for feminist change.

  • Course description     *  9 required credits in Women’s Studies, including Introduction to Women’s Studies, Feminisms and Research Methods
        * 6 required credits in Feminist Thought
        * 9 elective credits in Women and Peace, Health Issues: Feminist Perspectives or Féminismes dans la francophonie, Feminist Ethics or Feminist Perspectives on Culture
        * 6 elective credits in women’s issues chosen in consultation with the program adviser from various disciplines including Women’s Studies, Cinema, Classics, Economics, Education, English, Études françaises, History, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, Religion, Sociology, and Theological Studies
