Associate of Arts Degree (Specialty in Economics)

  • Objectives The Economics Department offers first- and second-year university transfer courses. We offer courses in the principles of economics, economics history, economic policy, environmental economics, money and banking, managerial economics and the Canadian economy. Courses are taught by classroom lecture and discussion with student presentations often required. The objective of our courses is to provide a sound understanding of market-based economies along with the policy role assumed by government.
