• Objectives
  This program will provide Registered Practical Nurses, who hold a Certificate, with an academic pathway that will result in the achievement of an Ontario College Diploma. This two-semester upgrading program focuses on assisting students in developing their knowledge, critical thinking, communication, research and leadership skills and to apply these skills in practice in acute health care settings. The curriculum of this program has been designed in accordance with the College of Nurses of Ontario's Professional Standards and Entry to Practice Competencies for Ontario Registered Practical Nurses.
