    This apprenticeship certificate program completes the in-school requirements for the automotive painter technician apprentices, as determined by the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities. Individuals who have registered with the Ministry as automotive painter technicians and are working in the auto body repair industry continue their education with this program.The in-school portion of the apprenticeship program consists of one 8-week level. In this level students are offered instruction in subjects such as trade practices, health and safety, vehicle surface preparation, corrosion protection, paint blending, tinting, matching, and overall vehicle refinishing.
