Master of Architecture

  • Objectives The two-year Master of Architecture program begins in the summer term (early May). Students select core courses in design, humanities, and technology. The program also includes an eight-month co-op workterm, a professional practice course, and a design thesis supervised by a faculty member. Six elective courses enable students to direct their graduate studies toward their own interests, aligned with areas of faculty research. Year 6 may be completed in fall/winter or winter/summer, depending on the teaching terms of a student's thesis supervisor.
