Course descriptionIf you love working with young children, the Basic Early Childhood Education at CDI College can provide you with a practical approach to career as an ECE teacher. Through a combination of lectures, group exercises and hands-on activities, you will develop the knowledge and skills to work with and provide care for children between the ages of 0 to 12 years of age.
The Basic Early Childhood Education program at CDI College meets the instructional and practicum hour requirements established by Alberta Family and Social Services, Daycare Staff Qualifications Branch. As a graduate of this program you will be eligible to work as an ECE teacher and childcare provider in a wide range of areas, including daycare centers and preschools
