Bridging to University Nursing Ontario College Graduate Certificate

  • Objectives This program is an academic pathway offered in flex and full-time formats to assist Registered Practical Nurses (CAAT and Diploma) to bridge to BScN in approximately three years. It will also assist Registered Nurses to update their knowledge and meet safe/current practice requirements to gain re-entry into the profession.
  • Entry requirements Nurses taking this program may be: 1. Registered Nurses who hold a certificate of registration in Ontario without evidence of current and safe clinical practice 2. Registered Nurses who hold a certificate of registration in Ontario and are currently practicing but would like to review their nursing knowledge and practice in an acute medical/surgical or mental health/community setting 3. Internationally-educated nurses who have not met the 2005 baccalaureate nursing education requirements for Ontario Registered Nurses 4. RPN's (Registered Practical Nurses) who hold a diploma from a Community College of Applied Arts and Technology (CAAT).
