Associate of Arts Degree in Pre-Social Work

  • Objectives Camosun College offers an Associate Degree that provides a range of integrated courses (Sociology, Psychology, Women’s Studies, First Nations Studies, Social Policy, English) intended for students who are considering a career in social work. The Associate of Arts Degree in Pre-Social Work provides you with two years of interdisciplinary studies, in line with provincially established Associate Degree requirements. This program provides all the courses necessary to transfer directly to third year in the Bachelor of Social Work Degree program at University of Victoria or other university social work BSW programs. As you work through your studies, you will complete 20 university transferable courses earning an Associate of Arts Degree in Pre-Social Work.
