Administrative Assistant Certificate

  • Objectives The Administrative Assistant Certificate is a provincially-recognized, transferable program that provides learners with the knowledge and skills needed to work effectively in today's business, government, and industrial offices. Your professional image, communication, time management, and interpersonal skills will be developed through lectures and labs. You will learn a wide variety of technical skills including the Windows operating system, Microsoft Office, manual and computerized bookkeeping, desktop publishing, and office clerical skills.
  • Practical experience In addition, an office simulation and a work experience is provided in the second semester, which will enable you to gain first-hand knowledge and experience of the inner workings of an actual office.
