The mission of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid is to contribute to the improvement of society by offering quality education and carrying out advanced research in accordance with demanding international criteria. The University aspires to excellence in all its endeavors with the objective of becoming one of the best universities in Europe.
Within the public service framework of higher education, the University strives to promote the development of all those individuals who form part of the University community. The values of merit, capacity, efficiency, transparency, fairness, equality and respect for the environment will guide all of its activities.
There are a total of 982 places available in our three residence halls: Fernando de los Ríos in Getafe, Fernando Abril Martorell in Leganés and Antonio Machado in Colmenarejo. They all aim to provide a true home away from home for students and faculty during their university stay. For this reason, as well as covering the basic needs of food and rest, the residence halls also offer cultural activities, forums and get-togethers which contribute to the personal development of the residents.
