Course description
You will learn to identify and respond to the physical and emotional day-to-day needs of your clients. You will also receive practical, hands-on training in physical and mental activities and learn to observe and communicate with residents. You will also learn to operate and care for of specialized equipment.
After successfully completing the Health Care Assistant program, you will be qualified to work in long-term care facilities, home health care agencies, retirement homes/residences, hospices and group homes.
