Diploma in Computerized Accounting

  • Objectives The objective of this program is to provide the student with opportunities to acquire and apply the knowledge of business concepts and office skills to meet the demands of today’s business environment.

    Students are required to take some elective courses from prescribed study areas.
  • Course description Admission Requirements
    Standard Admission

    Students must meet ONE of the following criteria:
    1. 1. Alberta High School Diploma, verified by transcript, or non-Alberta equivalent.
    OR
    1. 2. General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.).

    Mature Admission

    Students must meet ALL of the following criteria:
    1. 1. Out of school for two years.
    2. 2. Successful result on Academy of Learning entrance evaluation.
    3. 3. Thirty credits towards an Alberta High School Diploma, verified by transcript, with 50% or better in a Grade 10 English, or a non-Alberta equivalent.

    OR
    1. 1. Out of school for two years.
    2. 2. Successful result on the Academy of Learning entrance evaluation.
    3. 3. Successfully complete the CAST Level 3 with Alberta Grade 12 equivalency.
