Course descriptionAs a student in the Addictions and Community Services Worker program you will gain the theoretical knowledge and practical skills to work in high-pressure environments. You will also learn about conflict resolution, substance abuse health issues, prevention and treatment planning.
Upon graduation, you will be prepared to work in a diverse range of settings such as child, youth and family social service agencies, and programs concerned specifically with alcoholism, drug abuse, family violence and the aged.
