Objectives
This program incorporates the Aircraft Structural Repair Technician curriculum that was developed for the industry by the Canadian Aviation Maintenance Council. It focuses on the maintenance, repair, and fabrication of aircraft structural components in response to industry and advisory board input. In addition, the curriculum will prepare you with job entry skills including sheet metal layout, blueprint reading, structural repair of fuselages, wing and empennage sections, and heat and corrosion treatment. You will also receive extensive composite training including fiberglass, carbon and aramid fiber, hot bonding, wet lay-up, metal bonding, as well as a host of other job-related skills
